Umid Sharipov is the Managing Director of Relationship Management at ABL Corporation Japan. In this role, he is dedicated to building and maintaining strong partnerships with various clients, including airlines, lessors, and investors in the Japanese market. Umid’s primary goal is to ensure that ABL Corporation Japan sustains excellent customer relationships by thoroughly understanding their unique needs, offering tailored solutions, and providing exceptional service.

Before joining ABL Aviation, Umid gained significant experience at BNP Paribas’ Tokyo branch, where he held various positions. He was responsible for originating and executing cross-border JOLCO (Japanese Operating Lease with Call Option) transactions for transportation assets, including aircraft, vessels, and containers. He served airlines, operating lessors, and shipping companies. Additionally, Umid worked in the Aviation Finance EMEA division of BNP Paribas in Paris, where he was instrumental in originating, documenting, and executing aircraft financing and non-recourse aircraft portfolio transactions for clients in the EMEA region.

Umid holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Yokohama National University in Japan.
