At ABL Aviation, Lee has evolved into a dynamic leader at the nexus of aviation finance, data science, strategic innovation, and technological advancement—a modern multi-dimensional Head of Pricing.  His career progression in aviation has been very fast reaching the Head of Pricing role within five years of joining the industry.

With a foundation in actuarial science and computer science, Lee brings both mathematics and technological expertise to his role applied through a commercial lens. Lee has responsibility for the development of ABL Aviation’s best-in-class pricing and analytical infrastructure, promoting operational efficiency, enabling data-driven decisions, supporting complex deal structuring, and ensuring clients receive a top-tier, transparent service. One of the key features of the overall technological architecture he has developed is the firm’s cloud-based data infrastructure along with its linkage to proprietary pricing engines / technical models / financing models allowing for more automated throughput of investment opportunity analysis.

Lee has been a key member of the investment team having joined at the very start of ABL’s partnership in Japan during which time the firm has added close on 100 aircraft under management. Working day-to-day with the CIO and the overall deal team, he is the key link between commercial and investment teams in structuring deals and financing solutions that respond to market conditions and meet investor and airline needs. He has played a key role in the hiring and management of teams across the pricing and technical asset management teams – and he has built and managed the technology team at ABL Aviation.

Prior to his tenure at ABL Aviation, Lee held actuarial positions in large financial services institutions in Ireland and the UK, working with local and international stakeholders, holding key roles in product development, finance, and technical services. This international exposure has instilled a global mindset and a strong foundation in cross-market financial modelling, project management, leadership, and regulation.

A qualified actuary with a First-Class Honours degree in Computer Science from University College Dublin, and a recipient of the Microsoft Research Award for academic excellence.

Lee is a keen mentor and consistently drives innovation within ABL Aviation and is one of the thought leaders and strategic thinkers within the organisation.
