Carlos Merino is the Vice President of Marketing at ABL Aviation. In this role, he manages several key responsibilities, including overseeing the investor relations department, creating investor materials, conducting market research to identify potential investment opportunities, and representing ABL Aviation at industry events.

Before joining ABL Aviation, Carlos was the Operations Manager at Lignum Capital PFP, a well-known Spanish equity crowdfunding platform authorised and supervised by the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV). In this role, he successfully executed 13 fundraising transactions for startups and early-stage companies, demonstrating his expertise in the field.

Carlos’s professional experience also includes a stint at Lawell Law & Strategy, a specialised corporate law boutique that offers comprehensive commercial law services. Additionally, he worked in the Corporate Strategy department at L’Air Liquide, where he analysed business opportunities in the Spanish engine production and emission testing markets and the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation.

Carlos holds a Business Administration and Law Degree from Carlos III University of Madrid. He also studied at the ESC Rennes School of Business in France as part of an Undergraduate Exchange Programme.
