A look back at a year of growth for ABL Aviation
2025 marked a significant chapter in ABL Aviation’s development, shaped by sustained growth, disciplined execution, and an expanding global footprint across aviation finance, leasing, and asset management.
By the end of the year, ABL Aviation deployed 7.3 billion USD in capital and completed more than 116 aircraft transactions. These results positioned the platform as the 20th lessor worldwide by fleet value, reflecting both scale and consistency in delivery across multiple markets.
The year also brought important strategic progress. ABL Aviation opened its Dubai office, establishing its sixth global location and reinforcing its presence in a key aviation hub. At the same time, work advanced on the future Africa headquarters in Casablanca, scheduled to open by the second quarter of 2026. This development will further anchor the group’s long-term commitment to the region.
2025 also marked the launch of ABL Industries, expanding the group’s activities into maintenance, repair, and overhaul services. Based in Midparc Casablanca, this new platform strengthens operational capabilities and supports a more integrated aviation offering.
Commercial activity remained strong throughout the year. ABL Aviation worked with 30 airline customers across 21 countries worldwide. Key transactions included the completion of the final Airbus A220-300 deliveries under a 15 aircraft mandate with Air France, additional Airbus A321neo transactions with Pegasus Airlines, the first Boeing 737 MAX 8 delivery under a new mandate with Copa Airlines, and multiple Airbus A350-900 deliveries under mandate with Emirates.
Team growth played a central role in supporting this momentum. Twelve new professionals joined ABL Aviation in 2025 across finance, technical, commercial, IT, marketing, and operational functions, reinforcing internal expertise and supporting future expansion.
Industry recognition followed this performance. During the year, ABL Aviation received several international awards, including Innovative Aviation Finance Deal of the Year and Aircraft Leasing Company of the Year. In addition, members of the team were recognised in the Airline Economics 40 Under 40 Class of 2025, highlighting individual leadership and contribution to the sector.
Throughout 2025, ABL Aviation maintained a strong presence at more than 20 major industry events worldwide. These engagements supported dialogue with partners, investors, and operators, and reinforced the group’s role within the global aviation ecosystem.
