Rikito Okubo is ABL Aviation’s Assistant Vice President of Relationship Management, supporting the Managing Director in Japan. He focuses on building and strengthening client relationships in the Japanese market, using his strong background in structured and maritime finance.

Before joining ABL Aviation, Rikito was an Associate in the Global Structured Finance Department at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation in Tokyo. He specialised in maritime finance, handling ship finance projects for Japanese ship owners. He provided crucial advice and support during transactions and helped establish sale-leaseback (SLB) deals for Japanese investors.

Rikito holds a Master of Science in Atmospheric Science and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Kyoto University in Japan.
